Year 3 2024 - 2025

Mr Lynch

Mrs Kervin

Mrs Connolly

Our teachers in Year 3 are Mr Lynch, Mrs Connolly and Mrs Kervin. They are supported by Mrs Sneasby and Mrs Unsworth

We are looking forward to seeing you all again after the summer break and there are many exciting themes planned throughout the year!

We aim to develop resilient learners who embrace the challenges of Key Stage Two.

PE

Children need a full PE kit in school.

This half term, children will need an outdoor PE kit: trainers and track suits, no named or football kits, children can wear gloves, hats and a fleecy jacket or jumper when it's cold. I also suggest long pants or leggins (or shorts over the top of tights for girls).

3ML:

In addition to our PE lessons, the children have the opportunity to use our own running track to take part in the daily mile, which we have found to impact very positively on their attitude to learning and well-being.

It is our intent for all of our children to gain confidence with their reading, whilst developing a love of books, so we ask that reading folders are brought into school daily.

Snack

Please ensure your child has a water bottle in school each day.

Snack is available daily for children to purchase.

Toast/Bagels/Crumpets - 20p each.

Children are also welcome to bring their own healthy snack into school.

We use school spider to share your children’s learning experiences with you. Please check in regularly to view what the children have been doing in class.

If you don’t have access to school spider or need any further information, please email:
