Year 2 is a significant year in the children’s lives as they embark on their final year in Key Stage 1 and prepare for Key Stage 2.

We encourage the children to be confident, independent learners and aim to develop a ‘can do’ attitude to work. We talk a lot about growth mindset and perserverance.

Please do keep in touch via SchoolSpider to see pictures of what Year 2 get up to!

If you need to talk to us or ask us any questions you can do this either before or after school. Alternatively, you can contact us using the SchoolSpider app. Staff emails are as follows:

r.felton@woodland.lancs.sch.uk
s.jones@woodland.lancs.sch.uk
