Year 2 is a significant year in the children’s lives as they embark on their final year in Key Stage 1 and prepare for Key Stage 2.

We encourage the children to be confident, independent learners and aim to develop a ‘can do’ attitude to work. We talk a lot about growth mindset and perserverance.

Important information

Children are welcome to bring their own healthy snack/piece of fruit into school. Toast, bagels or crumpets are available for £1.00 a week or 20p per day.

PE 

All children will do PE at least twice a week, please ensure full PE kit is in school (white t-shirt, black shorts and pumps or trainers). Please remove earrings on PE days. Children can wear jogging bottoms during outdoor PE when the weather is colder. The children will be doing PE this half term on the following days:
