Year 5 Science investigation - What a drop!

In our science work this week we were conducting an investigation into the best material to use for a parachute to create the most air resistance or 'drag' and slow down the descent. We used celophane, fabric, plastic and card to create our parachutes, joined on a character and then took them outside make the drop and time their descent - we had great fun - enjoy the photographs.
